A workshop studio for traders who mark charts by hand

Utility Poplar Way Co., Ltd. runs small-group Fibonacci retracement training from our shophouse on Somdet Chao Phraya Road — chart panels, quiet desk time, and live trending review.

Registered business

Official name: Utility Poplar Way Co., Ltd.

Established: 2019

Studio address: 269 Somdet Chao Phraya Road, Khlong San, Bangkok 10600

How we started

Utility Poplar Way began in 2019 when two former floor clerks — Arin Chaiwat and Mali Pongpan — rented a ground-floor unit near the Khlong San pier. They had spent years watching traders argue over swing points on printed charts and wanted a room where retracement practice happened on paper first, with live screens as confirmation rather than the other way around.

The name references the poplar-lined alley behind the studio where participants take short breaks between marking rounds. Early sessions were word-of-mouth among Bangkok forex reading groups. By 2022 we added the Chart Review Clinic and Trend Continuation Lab to serve returning traders who needed feedback, not another introductory lecture.

What we believe

Trending markets reward consistent anchor selection. If two traders pick different swing lows, their 61.8% lines will never agree — and neither will learn much from comparing notes. Our workshops slow that decision down: justify the swing, draw the grid, then watch what price does.

We do not sell signals, software, or account access. The service is the session itself — the workbook, the desk feedback, the marked charts you take home.

The team

Arin Chaiwat leads the Fibonacci Retracement Intensive. He marked charts for a regional brokerage desk through 2015 and still prefers pencil on paper for the first pass.

Mali Pongpan runs the Chart Review Clinic and co-facilitates continuation labs. She maintains the printed chart archive — trending panels from recent weeks that participants work through.

Somchai Viriya handles scheduling, materials prep, and studio logistics. He is the first point of contact for enquiries and refund requests.

Working with participants

Groups stay between six and eight people so we can reach every desk during live marking. We ask you to silence phones during timed rounds but welcome photos of your own workbook pages afterward.

Most participants are Thailand-based and read forex or regional indices on daily charts. We occasionally host visiting traders — sessions are in English, with Thai clarification available when needed.
